Oh, there will still be lot many people who still believe these stories as fairy-tales, and why not? After all, even after so many ups and downs, the girl gets her prince charming in the end. No doubt Judith is considered as one of the contemporary romantic writers, however this time I found it hard to digest romantic overtures, tempestuous sensuous sex, romance and cheating in the midst of corporate business life and filthy rich people. There was a time I was gaga over Mills & Boons, Twilight etc, and Judith McNaught was one of my favorite authors then. It’s wonderful how time changes our perspective even though the item in question remains the same. If you love this book you will also love DEFIANT ANGEL by Stephanie Stevens its similar or kind of the same but also very very good and does not have 708 pages *smiling*. PLEASE DON'T LET MOST OF THE REVIEWS PREVENT YOU FROM READING IT, get the book take a chance and read it and draw your own conclusion or opinion of it. This book reminds me of Jane Austen Pride and Prejudice but only a little but with Whitney My Love being a sort of xrated version *smiling* might get my head bitten off for that one. I thought this book was worthy of 5 stars, Clayton's pursuit of Whitney was romantic a bit complicated at times for the couple along with there being a lot of miscommunication on each part but worth it in the end for the couple, the other characters personality also gave the book a push there were alot of characters and it was fun getting to know some of them individually.
